Everyone loves a bargain, especially at Christmas when money can be tight. Aldi is now the latest supermarket to announce huge discounts on essential Christmas vegetables, with prices of six products slashed down to just 8p.

The supermarket giant unveiled its latest 'super six' savings today (December 19), which will help households across the UK put on their Christmas Day dinner for less this year.

Britain's fourth largest supermarket has told shoppers to 'run' as they're offering the chance to pick up parsnips, broccoli, carrots, brussel sprouts, white potatoes and cabbage in stores at a reduced price of just 8p each.

Announcing the offer, Aldi UK shared on Facebook: "The super 6 just got heroic with these prices! Run in store to bag those classic Christmas veggies at just 8p each." Aldi then added that the super six veg is limited to six items per person, per shop.
