Supermarket shoppers gobsmacked after spotting 1kg Easter treat in Waitrose

Waitrose has revealed that their shelves are now filled with 1kg bags of Mini Eggs, well ahead of Easter 2025. On Instagram, staff from Waitrose Woodley in Berkshire channelled a bit of TV magic to share the news, miming lines from this year's Gavin and Stacey Christmas special.
Mimicking one of the show’s most memorable moments, an employee clutching a bag of Mini Eggs mouthed: "You ain't gonna find better than me, Neil," echoing the moment Smithy (played by James Corden) threatens to leave fiancée Sonia at the altar.
