The 26-year-old former Strictly Come Dancing professional had a bumpy relationship with EastEnders star Shane Richie. The pair had clashed after the professional dancer felt that the actor was not pulling his weight in camp, after the chores had been dished out.
In a camp which was pretty harmonious for the best part of the series, the 'feud' between Shane and AJ was the only words of discontent and conflict that ITV producers could latch on to.
