‘Aftersun’ Producer Amy Jackson & Former Film4 Exec Lauren Dark Launch UK Film & TV Outfit Unified

EXCLUSIVE: A buzzy new UK production company is officially launching today in the shape of Unified, which is headed by Amy Jackson, producer of Aftersun and The Nest, and former Film4 exec Lauren Dark, producer of Michael Pearce’s Beast and upcoming Vanessa Kirby pic Night Always Comes.

With bases in Edinburgh and London, the company is currently developing a slate of film and TV projects and will have an emphasis on international collaboration, global co-productions and support in creative development, financing, and physical production.

Dark spent four years as an executive producer at Film4 and while there commissioned Molly Manning Walker’s Cannes winner How To Have Sex, and was an exec producer on Florian Zeller’s Oscar winner The Father starring Anthony Hopkins and Olivia Colman, Rebecca Hall’s BAFTA nominee Passing, and Mark Jenkin’s Enys Men, which premiered in Directors’ Fortnight at Cannes 2022.

Upcoming, the BAFTA-winning producer has Benjamin Caron’s Netflix film Night Always Comes, starring Vanessa Kirby, with whom she was previously partnered on company Aluna Entertainment.
