Aerosmith Retiring! Reveals Steven Tyler Can No Longer Sing!

Aerosmith won’t be able to finish their Peace Out Farewell Tour. On Instagram Friday, the classic rock band wrote a message for their fans.

In the post, the band made up of Steven Tyler, Joe Perry, Tom Hamilton, Joey Kramer, and Brad Whitford thanked their fans and followers for supporting them from their debut all the way back in 1970.

Then they broke the news — their frontman wouldn’t be able to recover from his recent vocal injury. Related: Scooter Braun RETIRES From Music Management In the post, the band revealed the 76-year-old can no longer sing and thus they’ll all be permanently retiring from the stage: The group told fans they could get refunds if they’d already bought tickets to one of their upcoming shows, as now all the remaining dates are canceled.

They wrapped up their post by telling their fans to “Dream On”: Wow. See the full post (below): We would be remiss if we didn’t mention… This news comes on the tail-end of some horrific accusations against Steven, who was slapped with multiple lawsuits for alleged sexual assault and inappropriate behavior with a minor as young as 16.
