Aerosmith fans can now watch the band’s final ever show as it has now been uploaded to YouTube in 4k quality. The band’s last gig took place on September 9, 2023 at the UBS Arena in Elmont, New York and no one – including the band themselves – knew it would be their last.
The concert was part of their ‘Peace Out’ tour, which kicked off last year, but the band only played three nights, before rescheduling the rest of the dates after frontman Steven Tyler injured his larynx.Their final show followed on from their tour opening set in Philadelphia on September 2, 2023, and a follow-up show in Pittsburgh on September 6.
Now, thanks to a YouTube user by the name of Toshi Aizawa, Aerosmith’s final show is finally available for viewing in its entirety with “better sound” according to the video’s caption. The night saw the Rock & Roll Hall Of Famers perform their hits such as ‘I Don’t Want to Miss a Thing’, ‘Cryin’’, ‘Livin’ On The Edge’, ‘Love in an Elevator’ and ‘Sweet Emotion’.
They also went on to perform a cover of Rufus Thomas’ ‘Walking the Dog’ and played their song ‘Bright Light Fright’ – taken from their ‘Draw The Line’ album – for the first time since 1994.Funnily enough, the last song they played at what would soon be confirmed as their final-ever show was not one from their discography.
