Aerosmith has postponed six concerts planned for this month until January and February 2024 due to vocal cord damage suffered by lead singer Steven Tyler over the weekend. “I’m heartbroken to say I have received strict doctor’s orders not to sing for the next thirty days,” Tyler said in a statement posted on the band’s social media sites last night. “I sustained vocal cord damage during Saturday’s show that led to subsequent bleeding.
We’ll need to postpone a few dates so that we can come back and give you the performance you deserve.” The new, postponed dates for the Peace Out: The Farewell Tour are Detroit, now planned for Jan.
29; Chicago, Feb. 14; Washington, D.C., Feb. 17; Toronto, Feb. 21; Raleigh, North Carolina, Feb. 26; and Cleveland, Feb. 29.
All previously purchased tickets will be accepted at the new dates. Refunds will be available for fans who cannot attend the new dates.
