Adele was applauded at her concert on Friday 1 July after halting her performance to attend to a concert-goer in distress. The Someone Like You hitmaker had just begun singing Skyfall to a 65,000 strong crowd at the BST Festival in Hyde Park, London, when he exclaimed: “Stop stop stop!” Altering security to the situation, Adele – who turned 34 in May– asked the crowd if they were in need of help. “Right in the middle there, can you see where they’re all waving?” she asked as she pointed security personnel in the right direction.

Walking to the end of the stage, Adele continued to check if they were able to get to the person who needed help as she reassured them: “They’re coming, they’re coming. They’re coming right through now.” “Make room.

Everyone move out the way please,” Adele went on. “They’re coming.” The crowd began to cheer the songstress for her kind gesture.

After receiving confirmation that they’d got to the distressed concert-goer, Adele walked back up to the top of the stage to continue her performance.
