Adam Sandler has signed up to star in a new Netflix basketball movie produced by Lebron James.
In the new film, Hustle, Sandler will play an American basketball scout who is unfairly dismissed shortly after discovering a potential NBA superstar abroad, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
We the Animals director Jeremiah Zagar is on board as director, with James signed on as a producer, and writers Taylor Materne and Will Fetters penning the script.
The new project follows the critical success of the Happy Gilmore star’s previous Netflix movie, Uncut Gems, in which he played a New York jeweler whose gambling addiction derails his business and search for a prized gem. Sandler, a keen basketball fan, is also set to star in the upcoming family
