Ben, 36, performed with pro Robin Johnstone as he went against Ria Hebden and Lukasz Rozycki, who received the lowest votes on last week's opening episode. After both stars took to the ice with their pro partners to perform in the dreaded skate-off, the four judges - Jayne Torvill, Christopher Dean, Oti Mabuse and Ashley Banjo - delivered their verdict with Ria and Lukasz winning an unanimous vote.

Dancing On Ice 2022.Ria, who is known for TV programmes including Lorraine, and her professional dance partner Lukasz Rozycki, sent fans wild with their Great Gatsby inspired performance in front of a celebrity judging panel including Ashley Banjo, Oti Mabuse and ice skating legends Torvill and Dean.However, Ria has now revealed to Daily Star that before the first live show, she was worried she would 'embarrass herself' during a surprise moment on the ice with Torvill and Dean.During rehearsals for the show, Ria told Daily Star that the contestants had been asked to film segments together for the programme, but instead Ria had to take to the ice on her own, saying: "I was so nervous because I hadn't been on the ice rink on my own at all."I was a bit worried that they were filming this, and I was going to embarrass myself with Christopher [Dean] and Jayne [Torvill]." After having "a little chat" with herself, the star said "come on you can do this. Don't fear it - go for it," before being surprised by Christopher Dean, who unexpectedly lifted her up and span her around in the air.Ria said: "I skated on and he [Christopher Dean] picked me up, which I did not expect, and whizzed me around, which felt like 20 million times! "All I could see was the ceiling spinning, but it was the most amazing feeling.
