Following a wave of new theatrical release date delays due to COVID-19 concerns and slow vaccine rollout issues, Paramount Pictures is the latest studio getting in on the “fun” of pushing back their big releases.
Faced with tough realities about releasing movies in the spring (because theaters essentially won’t open then), the studio had now axed “A Quiet Place Part II“s most recent scheduled release of April 23, 2021, instead, delaying the film to September 17, 2021, as mentioned by Exhibitor Relations on Twitter.
