Square One will take shape in an old car park just off the ring road near Manchester Piccadilly station. The new event space will welcome national and international DJs in a programme of weekly events throughout the summer months.
It says it will be 'a beacon of light in the return to clubbing', with parties running from mid-afternoon until 11pm. The nightclub and live music industry have been among the hardest-hit by the coronavirus pandemic, with venues shut for a year this week.
