A judge in Los Angeles has ruled that A$AP Rocky must stand trial in January 2024 on felony assault charges, per Assosciated Press.
The charges stem from an alleged shooting in November 2021 involving Rocky and former A$AP Mob member, A$AP Relli. Rocky denies two counts of assault with a semiautomatic firearm.
The decision to go to trial came after prosecutors presented new video evidence to judge ML Villar. The video features audio of two gunshots being fired off camera and a man running around a street corner.
Still images from a separate surveilance camera also show a man carrying a gun. Villar said “the totality of the video and testimony” shows there is sufficient evidence to proceed with the trial to its preliminary stages.
