Donald John Trump (born June 14, 1946) is the 45th and current president of the United States. Before entering politics, he was a businessman and television personality. Trump was born and raised in the New York City borough of Queens, and received a bachelor's degree in economics from the Wharton School. He took charge of his family's real-estate business in 1971, renamed it The Trump Organization, and expanded its operations from Queens and Brooklyn into Manhattan.

The company built or renovated skyscrapers, hotels, casinos, and golf courses. Trump later started various side ventures, mostly by licensing his name. He owned the Miss Universe and Miss USA beauty pageants from 1996 to 2015, and produced and hosted The Apprentice, a reality television show, from 2003 to 2015. Forbes estimates his net worth to be $3.1 billion.

’60 Minutes’ Pushes Back on Threat of Trump Lawsuit Over Harris Interview

Trump is based on the faulty premise that 60 MINUTES distorted itsinterview with Vice President Kamala Harris (“the Interview”) in order to present her in apositive light,” said Gayle Sproul, senior vice president for legal affairs in a letter sent to Trump attorney Edward Andrew Paltzik that has been reviewed by Variety.

Trump on Monday threatened to sue to force CBS News to release the unedited interview with Harris. At issue is a segment of the interview made available to the CBS News program “Face The Nation,” which airs Sunday mornings, as a promotional teaser for what would appear later in the week on a special “60 Minutes” broadcast.

The promotional segment used a longer section of Harris’ response than the interview that appeared on “60 Minutes,” which was edited to give viewers a sense of Harris’ views on a wider variety of subjects. ”60 MINUTES fairly presented the Interview to inform the viewing audience, and not to misleadit.
