manchestereveningnews.co.ukDinosaur fans are in for a treat this summer as Heaton Park welcomes 40 life-sized animatronic dinosaurs. The Dinosaurs in the Park event promises to transform the park 'into a palaeontologist’s playground', delighting dino fans of every age.
With dinosaurs round every corner, the park will be filled with classic favourites such as the Stegosaurus, Triceratops and Velociraptor, as well as the lesser-known Dilophosaurus, Kentrosaurus and Hypacrosaurus. And after the trail there'll be a fun zone with hands-on activities included dino excavation digs, mini golf, a dino kingdom bouncy castle and mini soft play for under threes.
You'll be able to design your own dinosaur and watch it come to life on the screen and visit the palaeontologist tent to 'discover fossils, dinosaur dung and interesting facts'.
