Hibernian boss Lee Johnson says he expects Manchester United defender Will Fish to join his club on a season-long loan next Saturday.
The defender was not included in Erik ten Hag’s US tour squad but is set to feature in the academy side that is due to take on Wrexham in San Diego on Wednesday, having featured in both of United’s friendlies so far this summer.
The Manchester Evening News revealed earlier this month that Fish has agreed to join Hibernian on loan for a second time after helping the club to a Europa Conference League spot last term.
Hibs manager Johnson has confirmed that the details have now been agreed albeit pen is yet to be put to paper. He is anticipating Fish to arrive at Easter Road next weekend.
