Zoe Ball has confirmed her return to the airwaves following her unexpected absence. The 53-year-old radio host normally keeps the nation company each morning from 6.30am on her BBC Radio 2 Breakfast Show.
However, for the last several weeks Zoe has been absent from her presenting role, with the likes of Scott Mills and DJ Spoony stepping in to fill her shoes.
But that's all set to change as the presenter took to social media on Sunday (September 22) to confirm she will return to her flagship show on Monday morning (September 23). She added: "@realscottmills 7 @djspoony thanks for putting in the mega shifts." Zoe posted the message as she shared an Instagram reel to her Story of Disco Bambino's track Odeon (Holdin’ On) as she added a GIF witht eh words 'Bring it' to the post before tagging her Breakfast Show team including Tina Daheley and Richie Anderson.
After Zo's announcement that she will return to her show on Monday morning, a Radio 2 spokesperson said: "We are looking forward to welcoming Zoe back to the Radio 2 Breakfast Show tomorrow morning." Fans have been becoming increasingly concerned with Zoe's long absence from the BBC show - and it seems she will still be off for at least another week.
