Zara McDermott is set to film a "challenging" new documentary on disorganised eating. Provisionally titled Zara McDermott: Disordered Eating, the one-off film will focus on the considerable rise in eating disorders amongst children and young people – especially in the era of social media. The 25 year old former Made In Chelsea star, who recently opened up on her regret with fillers, announced the news in a candid video shared on her Instagram on Wednesday. "When talking to young people, listening to their experiences and what they're going through, what tends to crop us is this notion of disordered eating," Zara began. "It's a massive issue that I really think someone needs to talk about, and someone needs to look into it. "I really want to be that person, and that is what I'm going to be doing for my next documentary." Admitting she would be "challenging herself" with the new project, she added: "Social media has been pivotal in the way people view themselves. "Social media is great for a lot of things, but oversharing on social media can be damaging, and it's definitely something I'm learning about, especially in this area. "We all have a responsibility to be better educated on a topic that we may not know a lot about, especially all of us who have a young, potentially impressionable audience." Zara added: "I want to be totally vulnerable in this and totally open to critique and open to helping as many people as I possibly can.
