Zara McDermott appeared to be a bit emotional as she got back to work following the Christmas and new year break. The former Love Island star revealed she's still hard at work on her next documentary.
Fans of Zara will be aware that in recent years she has turned her attention to her work behind the camera as well as in front of it.
She has so far presented documentaries on a range of topics, including revenge porn, rape culture and eating disorders. One of her more recent programmes aired on BBC Three examines the 2022 stabbings of four Idaho University students - and the social media frenzy that unfolded in its wake.
Zara, 28, has now taken to social media to offer an exciting update on her next documentary. On Monday (January 6), alongside a photo of herself sitting at a table with a camera, she wrote on Instagram: "First day back at work, doing what I love & am so grateful for." She also took to her Instagram Story and sharing a snap infront of a golden sunset, Zara penned: "I am so grateful to be able to use my - platform to be able to make documentaries and make a difference in this world.
