Young girl, 12, knocked down in hit and run on Scots road as cops hunt driver

Police are searching for a driver after a 12-year-old girl knocked down in a hit and run in an Aberdeenshire village. The youngster was struck by a dark-coloured car around 11.20am on Saturday June 18 on Forgue Road in Rothienorman.The driver failed to stop and fled the scene.Officers say the young girl sustained minor injuries but was left extremely shaken by the incident.
