Body of man found near Scots harbour as emergency services cordon off scene

The body of a man has been recovered near a Scots harbour this morning.Emergency services attended the incident at Newhaven Harbour in Edinburgh around 7am after the body of a man was discovered near Newhaven Place.

There are not believed to be any suspicious circumstances surrounding the man's death. A photograph of the scene shows a forensic tent erected at the pier area as officers cordoned off the area.
