The body of a man has been found on a Scots beach, police have confirmed. Emergency services were alerted to the discovery on the shoreline near Marine Road in Nairn, Highlands, at 7.30am today.
The area remains cordoned off as officers deal with the ongoing incident. The nature of the man's death is currently unknown.
Police say inquiries remain ongoing to establish the full circumstances. A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "At 7.30am on Thursday, July 21, 2022 police received a report that a body of a man had been found on the beach at Nairn at Marine Road.
