A pub manager has hit back at a diner who claimed her family buffet did not cater for their allergies and their meal was 'less than acceptable'.
The manager of the Old House At Home in Walsall responded: "It cannot have been that bad as you had three plates full as far as my CCTV shows." The hostelry has three-stars on Tripadvisor and regularly receives 'excellent' reviews from diners.
However one diner, named Lili, left a one-star review after her visit in November, BirminghamLive has reported. But she claimed when they arrived there was no assurance that the allergies had been taken into account. The diner also added that the food was unacceptable 'for those of us with no dietary requirements'.
