Several people attending court couldn't hold in their emotions after a man was jailed for the brutal attack of a 12-year-old boy.
Those in attendance to support Mason Clague, who was sentenced for attacking a boy on a bouncy castle, shouted at the victim's family from across the courtroom.
While Clague was taken to the cells to begin his six-year sentence, one woman said: "The truth's going to come out that he didn't do it." The Liverpool Echo reports that a man shouted: "You f***ing trams" while storming out of the room.
A woman supporting the victim shouted back: "You f***ing d***head."
