Restaurant chain Yo Sushi is preparing to axe hundreds of roles as part a major restructuring following months of losses as a result of the coronavirus lockdown.
The company is expected to take out a company voluntary arrangement (CVA) on Friday, which will allow it to make a string of changes in its fight for survival.
Mirror Money understands that the move will involve closing 19 of its 69 outlets in the UK, as well as nine other sites where it is not the tenant but is legally responsible for rent payments.
If approved, the plan is expected to involve about 250 redundancies. It comes just days after high street chain River Island announced 350 job cuts.
