Season two of Yellowjackets broke records for Showtime! The network revealed that just one day after the season two premiere, the show became the most-streamed debut ever, hitting nearly 2 million viewers across platforms. Showtime also shared that Yellowjackets‘ season two premiere is the best of season two premieres in 10 years, and it doubled the series premiere audience.

Viewership was also up for the premiere as it was up 100% from the series premiere in 2021. “Yellowjackets broke records as the most streamed Showtime debut ever thanks to Ashley, Bart, Jonathan and our extraordinary ensemble cast who brought season two to even greater heights,” Chris McCarthy, president and CEO of Showtime/MTV Entertainment Studios & Paramount Media Networks, said in a statement.

They added, “By tapping into our proven strategy of promoting series across our full portfolio of brands at Paramount Media Networks, we successfully broadened the reach and brought new viewers into this incredible series that deftly combines psychological horror, dark comedy and coming-of-age drama.” Find out who stars in the second season here – three actors are actually missing!
