deadline.comThough Katherine “Kitty” Song Covey (Anna Cathcart) will be less of an outsider in her second semester at the Korean International School of Seoul, she says it best in the show’s newly released trailer: “There’s nothing like a familiar face from home” to boost one’s confidence every now and then.
That friendly face just happens to be Noah Centineo’s Peter Kavinsky, star of Netflix’s To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before film trilogy based on the books by Jenny Han.
XO, Kitty Season 2 will continue its spinoff story of Han’s books, which centered on Lana Condor’s Lara Jean Song Covey and her love story with Peter.
Kavinsky returns to visit Kitty in Korea towards the end of the trailer for Season 2, which premieres on Netflix on January 16.
