Cena transitioned into professional wrestling from bodybuilding in 1999 and signed with the World Wrestling Federation (WWF, now WWE) in 2000.
The self-proclaimed 'Doctor of Thuganomics' has held the WWE title on multiple occasions and followed the footstep of The Rock by transcending wrestling to become a movie star.
Given that Cena is currently signed to WWE on a part-time deal it wouldn't be beyond the realms of possibility that he has decided to hang up his boots for good, especially considering that he will turn 43-year-old later this month.
