Michael Owen was surprised Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag opted to play Marcus Rashford as a central striker in their heavy defeat to Liverpool on Sunday.
The Reds were thrashed 7-0 by Jurgen Klopp's side at Anfield, with the Merseyside outfit managing their biggest-ever competitive victory against United.
Ten Hag's side, meanwhile, have now won just three times at Liverpool since December 2007. Cody Gakpo, Mohamed Salah and Darwin Nunez all scored two goals for the home side, before Roberto Firmino came off the bench to score the seventh and final goal of the clash in the 88th minute.
United's loss at Anfield put a significant dent in any hopes Ten Hag's side had of being involved in the Premier League title race between now and the end of the campaign.
