Marcus Rashford (born 31 October 1997) is an English professional footballer who plays as a forward for Premier League club Manchester United and the England national team.
A Manchester United player from the age of seven, he scored two goals on both his first-team debut against Midtjylland in the UEFA Europa League in February 2016 and his Premier League debut against Arsenal three days later.
He also scored in his first Manchester derby match, his first EFL Cup match and his first UEFA Champions League match. With United, Rashford has so far won the FA Cup, EFL Cup, FA Community Shield and UEFA Europa League.
Former Manchester United forward Louis Saha has suggested that Harry Kane "will want to play with Marcus Rashford" as the Tottenham striker continues to be linked with a move to Old Trafford.
MEN Sport understands Kane is Erik ten Hag's prime striker target to reinforce the United attack in the summer, with sources saying that the Reds manager is intent on signing the 29-year-old as he approaches the final year of his contract.
The Reds are realistically the only Premier League side Kane could join in the summer if he is to leave Spurs, given that United are likely to have qualified for the Champions League and their priority is to sign a high-quality centre forward.
However, Bayern Munich are expected be in the market for a striker and could be an option for the England captain should he choose to move abroad.
