Here are your Wednesday evening Manchester United headlines. Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag has called on his players to adapt amid Marcus Rashford's absence against Sevilla on Thursday evening.
Rashford was substituted on Saturday after picking up a groin injury in the 2-0 victory over Everton. In his press conference on Wednesday, Ten Hag confirmed that the England international will miss out on the Europa League quarter-final first leg and a 'few other games'. ALSO READ: Sevilla boss addresses Marcus Rashford absence However, thankfully for United, Ten Hag believes that the player will be back 'quickly' ahead of the run-in.
When asked about options to replace Rashford, the Dutchman explained that he is confident with the players he has at his disposal. "Yes, we have a squad," he told United's official website. "We have squad depth and we can replace [him].
Of course when players fell away, [we can] bring in other qualities into the team and as a team you have to adjust. Maybe go a little bit different but still we know what we have to do.
