It was a miserable night for Rangers as they crashed out of the Champions League at the hands of Dynamo Kyiv - but the second leg didn't pass without controversy.
Philippe Clement was left fuming at the full time whistle as he slammed referee Marco Guida for dishing out a second yellow card to Jefte just five minutes into the second half - giving the Scottish Premiership side massive mountain to climb at Hampden to keep their hopes of reaching the £40million group stage jackpot alive.
But Dynamo would hammer home the with Oleksandr Pikhalyonok and Nazar Voloshyn netting quickfire goals inside the last 10 minutes to send Rangers crashing out at the playoff - and seeing them miss out on Europe's elite competition for a second consecutive season.
For Clement and his players they will now look towards the Europa League - but that will be little consolation after the night of heartbreak.
