Music industry icon Quincy Jones, who shaped the sound of American music by working with legends like Michael Jackson and Frank Sinatra, has sadly died at the age of 91.
Arnold Robinson, his publicist, confirmed the tragic news that he died at home in Bel Air on Sunday night, surrounded by his loving family.
Sharing their grief, Jones' family released a heartrending statement: "Tonight, with full but broken hearts, we must share the news of our father and brother Quincy Jones' passing.
And although this is an incredible loss for our family, we celebrate the great life that he lived and know there will never be another like him." Quincy Jones was not just a record producer; he was one of Hollywood's first prominent Black figures whose influence spanned generations.
