Work on £2m Scottish Water project to support new housing development due to get underway

Work on Scottish Water‘s £2 million project to support a new housing development - and reduce the risk of future sewer flooding - in Glenmavis is due to get underway.On August 6, the publicly owned utility’s commercial subsidiary Scottish Water Horizons will begin setting up a site compound on the Lanarkshire village's Raebog Road.The project will then see new storage pipes installed between Dunvegan Drive and Windsor Drive and also underneath land next to Glenmavis Road.The Lanarkshire Live app is available to download now.

Later this year work will also get underway to install a new sewer pipe along sections of Coatbridge Road and Glenmavis Road.; full
