Woman taken to hospital after being found injured in Wigan street

Police were called to Darlington Street just after 11.15pm last night on Friday (April 9). A woman was found with injuries to her arm and was taken to hospital where she remains.

Her injuries are believed to be minor. A 31-year-old was arrested on suspicion of assault but was released without charge, a spokesman for GMP said.
