Man taken to hospital after being rescued from second floor of construction site

Emergency services rushed to the scene on Lea Gate, Bradshaw, at around 11.30am, after reports a construction worker had been injured at the site he was working on.

The man, who was working on the second floor at the time of his accident, needed to be rescued by the fire service as the extent of his injuries left him unable to move.

Fortunately, the man is expected to recover from his injuries, as they are not believed to be life-threatening. Ady Taylor, the station manager at Bolton North and Horwich fire stations, described it as a
