A woman has shared a genius way to get tough stains off of your couch using a kitchen staple.The woman, who goes by @nataliia.sahm on TikTok, has shared a video on how she keeps her couch cushions as clean as possible using one detergent pod, some water and a pot lid.The video, which has garnered a whopping 3.6 million views on the platform, shows the woman dropping a detergent pod into a bowl and then adding some hot water.She gives it a stir with a tooth brush and then dunks a cloth into the mixture, before wringing it out and trying the cloth around a small pot lid.The woman then picks up all the cushions and items from her dirty sofa and then gets to work rubbing the pot lid with the cloth tied on over each cushion individually.She uses strong, up and down motions across each area of the couch, including the sides and armrests.

Once she is done, she shows off her freshly cleaned couch that is looking as good as new with no stains.Viewers flocked to the comments section to share their awe at this simple cleaning hack as one wrote: "Need to try!!!
