A woman charged with stabbing her partner to death told the court she can 'sometimes be a cow'. Joanne Moran, 42, of Bridge Road, Litherland, is on trial at Liverpool Crown Court after being accused of murdering Jonathan Gibbons.

The victim died after being stabbed in the chest. The court heard how on October 20, 2022 at around 4.45am, emergency services were called by Joanne who reported that a man had been stabbed and was requesting assistance on Bridge Road.

Moran has pleaded not guilty to one count of murder and one count of manslaughter, the Liverpool Echo reports.
