Emergency responders were scrambled to the entrance of the hospital on Southmoor Road this afternoon (August 17). A female pedestrian, in her 30s, has been taken to Accident and Emergency for her injuries to be assessed, police confirmed. It is understood the driver stopped at the scene. Southmoor Road was closed for around an hour on Tuesday afternoon, whilst emergency services dealt with the incident.
