direct to your inboxA woman was cut free from the wreck of a car after a nasty crash in Stretford last night.Firefighters, police and ambulance crews responded to the incident at The Quadrant roundabout just after 10pm.One car was involved in the crash on Great Stone Road.Firefighters spend several hours working to free the woman from the vehicle before she was taken to hospital.It is not believed the injuries were life-threatening.Police said no arrests were made.
A spokesperson for Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service said: "At 10.06pm on Sunday, 14 February, two fire engines from Stretford and Moss Side, alongside the Technical Response Unit from Ashton-under-Lyne, were called to reports of a road traffic collision on Great Stone.
