A woman is fighting for her life in a Turkish hospital after suffering a seizure. Melissa Kinsella, known affectionately as Missy by friends and family, was due to fly home on Monday, May 15, but collapsed in the airport.
The mum-of-three, from Moreton, Merseyside, was rushed to hospital and doctors told her family she had swelling on her brain and heart.
Currently, she is in a coma in intensive care and is unable to breathe for herself. One of Melissa's best friends, Rebecca Dath, said the 30-year-old complained on social media the day before she collapsed that she believed she was suffering from heatstroke. When she got to the airport, she had a seizure and collapsed. That's been it since, she has been in intensive care on life support in Turkey." Rebecca added: "Doctors don't know what has caused it, but she has swelling on the brain and swelling on her heart.
