It doesn't take much to spark an online debate these days, but some issues get people talking more than others. This week it's the humble chicken that has got people chatting, essentially whether you wash your raw bird before cooking it.

In a post on the Slow Cooker Recipe & Tips Facebook page, one contributor explained how they'd watched a TikTok video showing a woman cooking a chicken, but without washing it first.
