Two children and a woman have been taken to hospital after being hit by a car. Emergency services were called to the scene on Stanley Road, Kirkdale, after reports of a white Suzuki Vitara crashing into three pedestrians.Paramedics helped those injured during the collision before taking them to hospital.
It’s understood that the children thankfully escaped serious injuries while the woman received medical treatment for minor injuries.The driver of the vehicle stopped at the scene and is assisting police with their enquiries, the Liverpool Echo reports.A Merseyside Police spokesperson said: "We are appealing for information following a report of a collision involving three pedestrians and a car in Bootle this morning, Tuesday 12 December."At around 8.05am officers were called to a report of a collision involving a woman and two children on Stanely Road.
