A murder investigation is underway after a man died and several others were injured when a car ploughed into a crowd of people.
The 46-year-old died and another is in a serious condition after the horror incident outside a house in Sheffield this afternoon (December 27).
South Yorkshire Police (SYP) said they were called to College Close in Pitsmoor in the north of the city, just after 2pm after 'reports of violent disorder.' As the call was happening, a car collided with a group of people.
The 46-year-old was fatally injured and was declared dead at the scene. His family have been informed and are being supported by specialist officers.
