A Wishaw woman is returning on a charity mission to Kenya later this year despite being diagnosed with terminal cancer. Fiona McCall will return to Nakuru, which is a three-hour drive from the capital Nairobi, in September with the aim to help Kenyan families in desperate need.The 44-year-old is determined to return to the African country for a third time despite being giving the devastated diagnosis of stage 4 lung cancer earlier this year.The Lanarkshire Live app is available to download now.

I was diagnosed in January in one of my lungs and it has now spread to both of them so that’s when it goes to stage 4.“I have been using alternative therapies and cannabis oil which is helping me.“I have also changed my diet and gone almost totally vegan which has been another plus but I think the biggest thing for me is to keep a positive attitude.” Fiona, who was also diagnosed with cervical cancer back in 2015, spent a fortnight last year working with the Project Nakuru charity helping build
