Motherwell and Wishaw MSP Clare Adamson has been left gutted to hear of the recent damage to the life-saving ropes that were put in place in Strathclyde Country Park.
Ms Adamson has been a long-time supporter of the Christopher’s Saving Lives Campaign, co-founded by Duncan and Margaret Spiers.The Spiers established the campaign to raise awareness of water safety in memory of their son Christopher, who tragically lost his life after falling into the River Clyde in 2016.The Lanarkshire Live app is available to download now.

Earlier this year, Mr Spiers was at Strathclyde Country Park to gift 10 of these life-saving ropes to North Lanarkshire Council.
