There is no doubt that winter is quickly setting in now. The days are getting darker much quicker and there's definitely a chill in the air when that morning alarm clock goes off.

If you're looking for alternatives to heat up the house, then there are some around that needn’t break the bank this winter.

Currently on offer on Wowcher, I've found a 9-fin oil-filled heater from Hirix down to just £41.99 from £99, and I'll be putting it straight in my basket.

Two versions are available, with the larger, 11-fin radiator on offer for £51.99. As it gets chillier, it's always tempting to stick the central heating on for a quick blast.
