Aljaz Skorjanec 'panicked' Strictly Come Dancing fans as he left Tasha Ghouri emotional while speaking out in her defence. The professional dancer and former Love Island star are paried together in this year's BBC One dance contest.
Aljaz, who returned to Strictly this year following a two-year hiatus, and Tasha have been impressing both the judges and viewers, becoming the first couple to score 10s in the 2024 series earlier this month.
But their success has been marred by some backlash due to Tasha's commerical dance experience and earlier this week she told how she found herself questioning whether she 'deserved' to be on the show. "Emotionally, I think there was a lot of noise that happened after we did Charleston, and there was kind of a lot of people saying a lot of different things, and I started to feel like, 'Do I even deserve to be here?' "There was a point where I did start to feel like that, and there was a point where actually in rehearsals had a really good chat and a good heart to heart.
Aljaž was really there for me, picked me up said, 'Look, you do deserve to be here, you've got this. We're in this together.' "So I kind of let that noise cloud my head a little bit in rehearsals and eventually I thought, 'You know what?
