Will Cain Takes Over Fox News Channel’s 4 P.M. Slot

Brian Steinberg Senior TV Editor Will Cain, a popular co-host of the weekend edition of “Fox & Friends” will take over the 4 p.m.

slot at Fox News Channel anchored for many years by Neil Cavuto, part of a series of programming changes in daytime and weekends at both the network and its sister outlet Fox Business Network.

Cain will start in the new weekday role on January 21. The show will be called “The Will Cain Show,” replacing “Your World.” “Will Cain brings years of experience to the 4 PM hour as an accomplished broadcaster and a lawyer and we look forward to adding his insights to what will no doubt be another historic news cycle ahead this year,” said Suzanne Scott, CEO of Fox News Media, in a statement.

The network will bring a format to the hour that may be less familiar to veteran viewers. Cain’s new program, Fox News said, “will offer a comprehensive look at the news of the day in a signature podcast style.” Cain’s last appearance on “Fox & Friends Weekend” will come on January 18, and he will move to his new late-aftenoon weekday duties on January 21.
