Dave Halsall, who is the father of Wigan Warriors’ player Sam Halsall, was remembered on the pitch as the rugby club returned to the DW Stadium in a match against Hull KR last night.
During the game, the Wigan team wore black armbands in memory of the ‘Orrell Gentleman’.
